Ambessa Contave, one half of Oakland hip hop duo Fiyawata, organizer and green movement mobilizer  giving a shout in favor of climate change regulations.  This Saturday is the International Day of Climate Change Action and eco activists around the world are hosting over 1500 actions in over 125 countries, calling for climate justice at the Copenhagen climate talks from Dec. 7-18.

There are events happening all around the bay with the masses converging at 1 Market St. on the Embarcadero in San Francisco at 3pm.  There’ll be a spoken word read-out for climate justice, a huge human billboard, info tables, ways to take action on-site, as well a pedal-powered sound system to keep the beats going.
